It is situated in the Golaghat district and spans the districts of Nagaon and Sonitpur. Assam is one of the seven sister states in the northeastern region of India and is known for its rich biodiversity and natural beauty. Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh surround the state to the north, Nagaland and Manipur to the east, Meghalaya to the south, and West Bengal and Bangladesh to the west.<\/p><p>Assam is also famous for its tea gardens, wildlife reserves, and national parks, of which Kaziranga is among the most popular and well-known. The state has a rich cultural heritage and is home to several indigenous tribes and communities, each with unique traditions, customs, and languages.
