It is situated around 200 km northeast of Jabalpur City and covers an area of approximately 105 square kilometers. The park is surrounded by the Vindhya Mountain ranges and is known for its rich biodiversity, particularly for its large population of tigers.<\/p><p>The park is famous for its ancient Bandhavgarh Fort, which is believed to be around 2000 years old. The fort is atop a hill in the park, offering a panoramic view of the surrounding forest. Apart from tigers, the park is also home to other big cats, such as leopards and wild cats. Other animals found in the park include sambar deer, barking deer, Indian bison, wild boar, and langurs.<\/p><p>Bandhavgarh National Park is a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers. Visitors can enjoy jeep safaris and elephant rides to explore the park and spot its wildlife.
